Why Greece? Greece is my true love, which transmits to my husband, too, as love of an adopted child. My husband and I love Greece for identity, for the climate, for the environment. And even those moments that distinguish the Greeks from other Europeans and are not in a good way - we accept either. This happens only on mutual love!

Here the crucial role was played by the professionalism, charm and just wonderful human qualities of our realtors! Of course, we have done a lot of preparatory work, surf and search in the Internet, having read various reviews and descriptions. In addition, our Realtors have helped us to get a loan for the purchase in one of the Greek banks. We choose Northern Greece for the various reasons: less than 3 hours flight, cheap tickets, direct flights and possibility to travel by car. Then, we searched directly in Greece; our realtors showed us a few places in Halkidiki and finally, our picturesque Island! Island was exactly what we were looking for! Inaccessibility guarantees from the masses of tourists, the beaches are unique and clean, nature is extremely wild and beautiful, generally atmosphere is a village in the best sense!

Our "maisonette" was new and spacious and empty two floor apartment in a small complex just 100 meters from the beautiful long “Blue Flag” beach. All the neighbors are Greeks. It was a bit scary to start live in a new environment, to make some improvements in a foreign country, but gradually somehow it was done: we bought furniture, home appliances, everything was connected, modified to suit our needs etc. We made good friends with all its neighbors, which are also always ready to help and give an advice. Now it's our home.
