Halkidiki

Halkidhiki is a district of three mountainous peninsulas, on two from them the habitants of the second in a size city of Greece Thessaloniki like to spend their holidays – the third is the well-known all over the world mountain Athos . Wonderful beaches are located from Kriopigi to Pefkahori and farther, and extremity end of Cassandra, is well known for its sources and modern spa center Lutra. Outlines and surface of Satonii are more lacerated and uneven; beaches are more solitary and picturesque. Visit resorts of Ormos Panaya, AgiosNikolas, and Vurvuru with their magnificent beaches. Vurvuru began as a suburban township for the professors of University of Aristotle in AKTI Salonika, on earth taken away in 50х years at Votopedi Aphon monastery. The best beaches of Sitonia are located along the road of Vurvuru-Sarti. Another staggering place – Porto Koufo wonderful bay enclosed from a high sea by high rocks. On the internal side of Santoni , a magnificent resort complex Porto-Carass attracts attention with its own deep-water  for ocean yachts, the fields for playing golf, the vineyards and wine cellars, by the center of all conceivable and unthinkable types of sport from riding and mountain bicycle to kaite surfing and diving. The nearest to it is a small town – Neus Marmaras with its little fishing port, beaded of populous tourist’s streets. It is needed to visit and ancient mountain Partenosas - traditional hamlet of mountain Sitonia and to taste exceptional on the execution kebab in localtaverns.

Well and it is not needed to forget that almost in 100km there is an enormous megalopolis of Thessaloniki  with magnificent shopping centers, amusement and aqua-parks, by mass of sights and active night life.
