Average price of holiday homes foreigners buy soars to 450,000 euros

The high quality of holiday homes on the Greek market in terms of their cost compared to other European countries continues to serve as a driving force for demand from abroad, especially with an increasingly higher available budget.

According to data collected by Elxis-At Home in Greece, which specializes in the holiday home sector, in 2025 the average expenditure on the purchase of holiday homes by foreign buyers recorded a large increase of 37.3% compared to 2024.

Therefore, the average value of holiday homes purchased reached 450,000 euros – that is 71% higher than just three years ago, when foreign buyers spent €263,000 on average.
